Quantum of Solace

Saw the new 007 flick at a midnight showing this morning with the family.

My family and I all agree that we still love Daniel Craig as Bond, and most of the actors in Quantum were good in their roles. But the filming style and flow of the whole movie felt butchered, rushed. And not in a good fast paced action movie sort of way. In a sloppy, chopped together in post-production way. What could have been fantastic chase scenes and fights felt rushed and chopped together often leaving most viewers I saw the movie with thinking, "what just happened?!" or "oh come on!". Plot directions felt started but never finished. The whole movie felt like something went wrong in principle filming and the editing was rushed to put together a Bond film with the pieces they had.

We'll be seeing it again. But not because we thought it was great, but because it left us all with one word on our minds... "what?!".

Apparently, I'm not alone in my opinion of the movie...
