Define irony: When a company who has enjoyed a large market share for many years through the sales of a proprietary technology complains about another company who has created a new product that supports open source technologies but doesn't support the complaining company's technology.
Adobe's complaints about Apple over Flash are akin to an alternator manufacturer, who has enjoyed good revenues for years, complaining to GM that new hydrogen GM cars don't require their alternators anymore. Just like the millions of happy consumers buying iPhones, iPods and iPads today, consumers who will buy those hydrogen cars won't care about the absence of those alternators in their new cars. Isn't a free market consumer driven economy great.
This is business Adobe. Quit taking it personal. If you don't like what Apple is doing, go create your own multi-billion dollar consumer electronics products, and compete on the merits of your products instead of crying foul and expecting everyone to cry with you.
